Why do fees track turnover?
Because turnover is the fairest proxy for how much work your accounts involve — more sales means more transactions, more VAT, more to check. Roughly 2% of turnover buys you complete compliance with no surprise bills.
Is FreeAgent really included at every level?
Yes — every band includes FreeAgent, worth up to £330 a year, plus setup and support.
What if we're pre-revenue?
You'll be in the first band at £49 + VAT a month, which covers everything a pre-revenue company needs: accounts, corporation tax, confirmation statement, directors' self assessment and unlimited advice.
What's NOT included?
Payroll and pensions are priced separately at market rate (payroll from £8 per head, £25 minimum monthly), so companies without staff never subsidise ones with. One-off projects — like a business plan or investor forecast — are always quoted before we start.
Can we upgrade to more support later?
That's the design. When you outgrow compliance-only, add management accounts and advisory, or move to a Virtual Finance Team package that replaces the banded fee entirely.
